About Pension Barendregt

Pension Barendregt has been a family enterprise since 1951. We started as a sole proprietary for a target-group predominantly consisting of single, well-to-do renters, many of whom were former (Dutch) Indonesian inhabitants. After independence of the former Dutch colony, many of these - mostly elderly - people returned to the Netherlands. They were therefore fully catered for at Pension Barendregt. Around 1970, the target-group changed to customers who came to work in Rotterdam and needed temporary accommodation.

Currently grown to a company with 9 locations and a capacity of about 100 rooms, studios and apartments in Rotterdam. The current target group is very diverse: from expats, individuals who are house hunting, students interested in both short and long-term rental, to tourists and employees of companies who need accommodation for a few nights.
