Tijdens mijn studie aan de Erasmus Universiteit verbleef ik twee jaar in Pension Barendregt (gebouw Waterloostraat) en het was een geweldige ervaring. De locatie is uitstekend: veilig en rustig, maar toch op slechts 5 minuten lopen van een verscheidenheid aan winkels, cafés en supermarkten, evenals de metro- en tramhaltes Voorschoterlaan en de tramhalte Avenue Concordia. Het is ook gunstig gelegen op loopafstand van de Erasmus Universiteit, Blaak en de Kralingse Plas.
Het appartement zelf was in perfecte staat en de verhuurders waren altijd ongelooflijk behulpzaam en responsief. Ik zou het ten zeerste aanbevelen om hier te verblijven!

Hun team was zeer professioneel en servicegericht tijdens mijn twee jaar verblijf in Kralingen! Geen spijt, alleen dat ik wenste dat ik langer was gebleven.

De kamer waarin ik verbleef was echt leuk! Ook komt er wekelijks een schoonmaakster zodat het pand altijd schoon is. De wijk Kralingen is erg mooi en slechts 5 minuten fietsen van de Erasmus Universiteit.

My stay at Pension Barendregt for 3 years went very well. The location is excellent - in a quiet and green neighbourhood, with good access to public transport, and close to the university and centre of Rotterdam. The apartment was also very nice, well maintained and bright (even during the Dutch winter) ! The facilities of the building are convenient (elevator, common washing machine). The rent includes all services (wifi, weekly cleaning, electricity, etc). Whenever I had a problem, it was fixed quickly and adequately as well. Highly recommend !

During these days with the frustrating situation with respect to the rental situation in the Netherlands, Pension Barendregt and its proprieter Martijn Barendregt are a rare find. Student reviews and articles, regarding housing in the Netherlands, warn of expensive accommodations and bad landlords. But Mr Barendregt is not just a fair landlord, he is an incredible person and would help you selflessly if you require any kind of assistance.

I had a very comfortable stay for more than two years. Comfortable is an understatement here. Given the quality, the location of the rooms and the service provided, the rent is one of the fairest in Rotterdam. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a student accommodation but do not know many people in the city. You can always trust Mr Barendregt to give you a good room along with the necessary amenities at a fair price.

Very kind landlords - understanding, respectful and diligent. The location itself is in a very convenient and beautiful location in Rotterdam. The room I stayed in was generally silent and had direct access to a large garden which adds to the peacefulness of my stay and is nice for a get-together with friends during summer.

I was living in one of the rooms provided by them, and stayed for one year. It was a great experience. They are kind and helpful. Especially cleaning service being part of the rent is just great. I can easily recommend!

The best landlords I have met so far. Close to uni, metro and tram station. Housemates are usually really nice. Overall, fantastic place to live.

I stayed for 6 months in a studio at the "Pension Barendregt". The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, well located with access to multiple services nearby, is a very comfortable and welcoming place to live, work and/or study.

Ik verbleef 6 weken in Pension Barendregt en kan deze verblijfplaats sterk aanbevelen. Goed verzorgd appartement met een mooie ligging in Kralingen. De verhuurder was steeds correct en gemakkelijk te bereiken.

I lived here for a year and it was the best stay i have rented so far. The landlord takes good care of the house and responds fast to requests/questions. Plus, for a young working professional, the price was fair for the services provided and location. 😉

It's really lucky I can find my own space in Rotterdam, especially in Kralingen. I lived in a lovely room and shared most of facilities with other roommates. Not only felt cozy and happy with all roommates in the building, but also our neighbors were really friendly. Here is a good place for living and if I had any questions, our landlord always tried to figure out. I am always appreciate about this. And I will miss all the memories here cuz it's my second home.

Ik heb een jaar verbleven in één van de kamers van Pension Barendregt als buitenlandse student. Ik kan dit verhuurbedrijf enkel warm aanbevelen; een zeer correcte aanpak van de verhuurder en bij kleine defecten wordt de dag zelf nog voor een oplossing gezorgd. Een must-go voor een zorgeloos verblijf als student in Kralingen in de nabijheid van de Erasmus universiteit.

I loved renting my apartment through Pension Barendregt. Everyone gladly helped me whenever I needed it. The apartment and service included, made my stay here very comforting. The location and facilities are great to make a home for oneself and to reach parks or the city quickly. I loved my apartment and can only recommend it to others!

I stayed for one year during my study in Rotterdam. The landlord has always been very helpful and responsive if there is something urgent. The apartment is well maintained. The location is perfect as a student, 5 minutes biking to EUR and close to the shopping area and a big park. The neighborhood is very beautiful, close to student houses but not loud at all. I would recommend Pension Barendregt to anyone, especially to international students as most landlords are often not helpful, transparent, and communicative.
